It's a week until our first vacation of the summer. It's hard to believe considering last year we started in May and didn't end our travels until the middle of September. I'm not complaining. We have two great vacations planned for the year - Lake Shasta and Jacksonville, Savannah, and Charleston (we are going to go to Monday night football too - Jacksonville vs. Indianapolis).
We are headed off to Shasta with my mom, Dirk, Aunt Nancy, Ted, Nick, and some friends on September 7th. It should be a blast. We had a great time last year on the same vacation. Who can complain? You get to spend all week in the sun and in the water just simply relaxing. Plus, we get to eat whatever and whenever. We're on vacation, right?
